Permits

Businesses often need permits for night or Sunday work, to take on foreign workers, or for short-time work. You will find an overview of these on this page.

If you want to take on foreign workers, you will need to submit an application to the Office of Economic Affairs. You can find the application forms on the Department of Economic Affairs, Energy and the Environment website.

Businesses bear the risks of economic fluctuations themselves. If an unusual event occurs, you can apply to the Unemployment Insurance Office for short-time work.

You can obtain a permit for urgent night and/or Sunday work from the Office of Economic Affairs.
